Here's a DRF 'breaking news'

http://www.drf.com/news/ill-have-ano...belmont-stakes

Sigh. Of course, I'd rather he be scratched for infirmness BEFORE the race than have him break down on racing's biggest day in 34 years.

Another of racing's 'what might have been' stories.

Ted

To All Belmont Stakes enthusiasts

Re: ALERT: I'll Have Another scratched from Belmont Stakes.

The Belmont race is a different contest with #11 I'll Have Another out.

It's advisable to delete this race card and download the later Trackmaster card because of the new morning line odds.

All the best on Belmont Stakes Day, Saturday, June 9, 2012.

I can't delete Belmont Race Card

Hi Ted,

Soon as I learned that I'll Have Another was out of Belmont, I wanted to delete this race card I downloaded from TrackMaster for Sat. 06/09/2012.

I tried twice to download the new race card with Range of Dates From: 6/9/2012 to: 6/9/2012, but I still have #11 I'll Have Another shown and no signs for the changed morning line odds.

I need a lot of help,

They won't put up a new card - it is just another scratch.

Ernest,

FWIW, here's a revised Morning Line (below), suggested at the DRF site. But really, forget about the morning line - use the betting line suggested by your RDSS BL/BL screen. Check out some of the analysis suggested (and revised) in the Belmont Selections threads (http://paceandcap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8386) and (http://paceandcap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8385).

As Tom mentions above, after a card is issued by TrackMaster, it is never revised for scratches. Simply scratch the horse yourself on the Entries screen and all calculations adjust themselves.
