I remember that horse. All of us had a valid reason for the line we chose and any of those
lines got the horse in the top2 validating what Doc always statedwhich was a true contender has more then 1 line that will get it. And for the record the horse won.

Beware that even some of the experienced people don't agree on a line for a particular horse. Once a horse was put up that several of us (Bill V., Lt1 & myself) all disagreed on.

Even among us, one of us may win a race that the other may or may not win. We all live or die by our decisions.

Its best to follow a consistent procedure to achieve consistent results.
I'm sure if you put up a horse or a race that opinions or comments would be received.

For the most part its easy however

I certainly agree that the pace line selection is subjective. I still think comparing notes on a recent race or two would be interesting. Sounds like the race you mentioned spurred some constructive debate.
