Was just watching the end of the racing day (with a stiff drink in my hands ) when this little gem ran. I'd gotten a heads up on it earlier today from an eagle-eyed friend, so I took a look:

The paceline selection was the usual one for Turf: accept the horse's best Turf line (where possible), similar distance, from its entire PPs, judged by (my preference): Perceptor Line Score Total/Total Energy.

Nice win. Couldn't figure the Place horse though.

I didn't bet on it, only worked it after the fact, but am always pleased when straightforward effort has such fine results. Not that they always do...
