Converting a zipped file in RDSS
I am presently in Montana and only have access to dial up on my sisters computer. My laptop doesn't work on her provider.
I managed to download todays rdss dmr card from TM and copy it to my laptop, but cannot get rdss to convert and create val/spec files. Is there a way to do this? Richard |

Richard,
This post tells you how to do that: http://paceandcap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5621 Basically, it's a way to import a previously downloaded TrackMaster file into RDSS without also going through the download process. You need to make sure the file (i.e. one downloaded by other means - within the RDSS Terms of Service - such as on another of your own computers) is placed in the proper location in the race card file archive. Unfortunately, this method does not also create Val/Spec files - only for RDSS. Hope this helps! Enjoy Montana! Ted
