Hello Henrio!
RDSS has 2 final time speed ratings. One is the very same TrackMaster/Equibase Speed Rating you will find on their various products. The other is an internally created Adjusted Speed Rating ASR computed from raw final time plus the set of adjustments to distance equalization, surface adjustment, Daily Track Variant portion applied and Inter-Track Variant. Mostly, RDSS uses its own internal ASR in the various screens and other final-time based ratings. The TrackMaster supplied Speed Rating IS useful in cases of foreign horses running in North America (e.g. at Breeders' Cup time) for which no internal ASR can be computed. Hope that is helpful. Ted
