took a page from my friends book

Skill is an important asset, but luck is also important.
My friends and I played the new P-5 at Parx today and we were alive to 4 horses going into the last race.
My 5th contender was being bet So I took a page from my friend Tims book and wheeled him in the exacta and got lucky when a 70/1 horse ran second and I turned a loosing day into a winning one.
The exacta paid 205.20 for a dollar.

Well done Richie. Welcome to my whacky world. You don't have to hit that many of these out of the box plays to have a nice week.

Rich,

Put the money aside, and when the next contest comes along you won’t need to be looking for sponsors.

Pook

Pook, putting my winnings aside so I can enter the next contest is not an option for me.
I use my winnings to help pay our everyday expenses.

Well Richard if it truly comes down to a choice of a silly horse racing contest or putting food on the table.......nuff said.
