Muddy paceline in rdss2
Hi, everybody. How do I know whether a paceline in rdss2 is muddy or not? Is there any range of track variants indicating that?
Thanks for your help. |

On the Original screen of the horse, which is the horses' past performances, on the left side of the distance it gives the track condition.
Find the RDSS Glossary by using the Google Site Search and download it to your desktop for easy reference. Within it is the description of what's on each screen and its meaning etc. Mitch44 |

Henrio,
Here is a screenshot for a horse showing the last 20 or so races (the most my small screen can show), red boxes showing the course condition at left, per Mitch advice, and the other red box showing the related DTV at right. Note, of the 2 Muddy ('my') lines showing, one is very fast (-17 DTV) and the other is near normal time (-1 DTV). DTV is calculated by TrackMaster based on pars for final time for the distance and surface. The traditional surface 'going' designation is more a visual description. For myself, I use the 'my' muddy or 'sy' sloppy or whatever course condition description as a question to decide whether a horse will be bothered by the wetness of the track it faces, e.g. mud in the face if it is not a front runner. Final and sectional times (adjusted by the DTV and other settings) are what is used to create all the RDSS factors. Ted
