Terrific podcast- Bet with the Best.
I have been listening to a podcast a while now concerning betting. It is hosted by Chris Larmey who is cohost of the podcast Sport of Kings. Each episode is 1 1/2-2 hrs each and features a famous horseplayer. The emphasis is on bet creation and not handicapping. The latest two episodes are parts 1 and 2 of an interview with Len Friedman who for years was the partner of Len Ragozin.

Is "Sport of Kings" the podcast? or is there another?
Something I could use, terrible at constructing bets. Chris |

Sorry
The name of the podcast is « Bet With The Best ».
Sport of Kings is a separate podcast which concentrates on handicapping selections.

Thanks Charlie,
Listened to both Part 1 and 2. A successful moderately large bettor who is humble. Says he knows what he knows and doesn’t know what he doesn’t know. Interesting to hear how he has adjusted to racing over the years. He plays far fewer races now than decades ago because his edge has been diluted by a more sophisticated public. The same is true for Beyer numbers and the Sartin Methodology. One has to adapt. I have never considered the Sheets seriously because I consider them too expensive. You’d have to be using $1000 units to make it worthwhile and I don’t bet at that level. They are the best numbers you can get for condition handicapping. Lots of good insights into the game. Thanks, Pook |

Several of the other episodes are worth listening to, particularly Mark Cramer.
