I know people refer to riders as pin heads, but that video will not go far to change that. Just stop......that can't be an official race.

horseman

i wonder why the track announcer didn't call this. this happened at a track a few years ago and the track announcer repeated over the mic the starting gate has not been moved. and the jocks pulled up the horses.
did anyone catch n. santiago on monday wanting to join the "space shuttle crew" after he was launched in the air after his horse fell over the horse that broke down. i saw it live and i thought for sure he was in big trouble. but K jones said he was more shaken up than anything. same with the other jock.

Close call

I was there...it was crazy. We were standing on the fence by the finish and I said to my buddy, "look they're going to have to jump the gate!" Of couse I really thought that the gate would move at some point, but no go. At least no one got hurt, it was like throwing turkeys from a helicopter.

Later...

Hello Doug

Yep...here in the Big O as well. Small world huh? You're probably my neighbor and we don't even know it.
Had an E-bay experience like that once, ended up buying something from the guy down the street!

Was recently reminded that Broad Brush (son of Ack Ack) did the same thing in winning the Pennsylvania Derby years back.
