After hitting the seccond race with a $9.00 winner (my first selection for the night) I top it off with a $40.20 winner for my second straight win out of 2 races. Actually this was my 4th straight winner. if you want to count the 2 chalk wins I had and posted at Mountaineer the other night.
Synergism 2 works for me.

Bill, Thanks for your kind words.
I reassessed the way I bet and modeled it torwards your 2 pick strategy. Naturally, odds play a big part in how I bet. I take it on a race by race basis. I also developed a new contender and paceline method. I like Synergism 2 because the read-outs are very straight forward. I try to use 4 or 5 contenders in a race. If I come up with six I generally eliminate one using a different program. You've always said that this site was about learning and indeed I've learned a lot from you, Ritchie.and the members of the board. I've also made quite a few friends. I believe this board is very unique and has a great group of members. |

Race - 6 (Another Winner)
My selection for Race - 6 produced another winner which paid $ 8.40
That's 3 winners out of 4 races tonight using Synergism 2.

I normally come up with 5-6 contenders, depending on the race. I thoroughly analyze the pacelines and make changes when I think there necessary. I'm also not afraid to mix distance when necessary. I use AODDS and set my blocking screen up in a specific way. and pick some unorthodox pacelines that tend to deviate from the normal. Variants play an important part of my selections. I also project what type or types of horses can win. I put exactas completely out of my mind and never care about the place horse. I also use a hedging program to proportion my bets. So far It's been consistent, with the exception of last Saturday, where I got to creative. David, when you follow the crowd or majority it puts you into another category which I affectionately call: LOSER. You have to zig when they zag. ![]() After all is said and done............. I might bomb tonight at CTX. ![]() |

Thanks for the feedback, Bill.
I imagine we all do things a little differently. Heh, I think I'm so far off the beaten path I can't even remember the original Syn2 suggestions. :>) |
