Does anyone use this or Doc's older forms?

I had not used those, but here are two that I was going to use before I just reverted to Ted's model provided.

I know we had Richie create a newer model that seems so simple to use, but for the stubborn , reluctant old timers , such as I, I was wondering if any older timers used this stuff to help them get over that hump.

You know the hump you get over when you know where,(what race type's) ,you win and where you do not win, not go back and learn why you lost, ( yes you do that too, but not for this purpose), but to better focus on your winning wagers and race type's, and eliminating losing race type, and in doing so raising your win PCT. by astronomical bounds, that hump?

I know that my father has used forms like this in times when there was no computer or internet around. Don't know where he got them from, probably the bookmakers gave it to some of their clients. My father was always accurate and careful with choosing horses and documenting all his bets and wins/losses.

Hi Erin, welcome to Pace and Cap!

Sounds like your Dad was/is your mentor in the horse-racing department, a not-infrequent occurrence !

If you're just starting out trying to absorb some of this 'Sartin stuff', consider delving into the Library a bit and reading some of the later Follow Ups (e.g. Issues 70+). Then some of the concepts and terminology discussed in the daily posts may gradually become a little more familiar to you. (Library: http://sartinmethodology.com/sartin-library-info/).

At any rate, feel free to ask any questions you like - there is no such thing as a 'stupid question'!

All the best!

Ted

Thanks for your advice, Ted. I know that I have to do some reading to get into the methodology but I am really interested in the topic so I don't think I'll have any problem with getting some literature and going through it. I'll come back with some questions when I've finished reading the basic stuff.
