R.I.P. Tom Brosnan Sr.

Some of you who have joined us in Saratoga over the past few years will affectionately remember our most senior member Tom Brosnan Sr. I was informed by his son Tom Jr than his father passed away yesterday at the age of 94 surrounded by his family. Tom Sr was a handicapper and gentleman whose association with Doc Sartin went back decades. I forget his former profession (lawyer?) but he shared stories from back in the day and always expressed great enthusiasm and gratitude that all of us were still using and celebrating Doc's work in these modern times. I am in awe at the care and love expressed by his son Tom Jr for his father during his declining years. Thanks, both Toms, for the chance to get to know you.

Bon voyage Tom Sr - happy trails ...

Tom,
I was saddened to hear about the passing of your Dad. He was such a gentleman, and I'm so glad I got to meet him and spend time getting to know both him and you. It was a wonderful thing to see the two of you together and the love you so obviously shared and I always looked forward to seeing both of you each year in Saratoga.

We each have our time to move on. His was now, but he will always live on here in all the memories you and your family have of him and you all, and all the things you did together. Speak of them often among yourselves and he will never leave you, but just be in the room next door waiting for you.
My thoughts and with your and your family. Peace to you all

myself, Tom Sr. and Tom Jr.

Barb

Tom
I met you and your dad briefly a couple of years ago at The Spa and immediately I saw how really close the both of you were. It was a pleasure meeting you then and I wish you and your family the very best.

Karen and I send our prayers and condolences to you and yours.
Karen and Richie Pizzicara
