Gulfstream/Tampa Live race by race

I have a pretty free day tomorrow, one of the perks of being a 20 year old college student and getting off days! So i will be doing a race by race either for Gulfstream or Tampa tomorrow. I am preparing for a 100k tournament coming up soon and after a few $100 game wins today on Derbywars i have the bankroll to start trying to qualify for my 100k game goal. Hopefully some of you have some time to participate and bet along live with me. I will be going into great detail about my selections and process and hopefully i could get some feedback from some of you guys on here! See you guys tomorrow

20 is nice raceman!
Alright ill be doing the tampa races for today. Today will be mostly paper plays and some looser handicapping. What i have found for me personally, is that my weeks are much more profitable when i take one day or one card to take it easy on, kind of my warm up. As i said I'm preparing for some bigger tournaments coming up so I've been really sticking to my routine that has been working for me. I like to look at Wed as my warm up day, i don't try to make mistakes, but i am a lot easier on myself when i do and i write down all mistakes i make on Wed and make sure not to make those mistakes throughout the week on the more serious days.
Should be a good day!

With all that said, Race 1 at Tampa is a Pass. The only logical horses are the 2 favs and i only have a line for one horse, see you in race 2.

Contest wise I would like the 7, Tr/Jock ROI of +15

Well, thats the way it goes, you pass some the right way, and you pass some the wrong way. As i walking back to my computer i see one of the two horses i had a line for at 4/1 blowing by. 9 times out of 10 however, i pass this race, so i stand by my decision.

Race 2:
#2, #5, #6 interest me, however, to me there are a lot of variables that go into this cheap Maiden claimer and i will need good odds on at least two horses to make a play. The #2 is stretching out after never having been successful or close in its previous routes. He does dominate the internal fractions however.
The #5 is 0 for 11 with only 1 second, this would be one to maybe use underneath. The #6 is a deep deep closer and may take a while to get rid of his maiden until he gets more early foot, but i would still give him a chance.
I need the #2 and #6 to both be over 7/2 to make a play here. Contest wise, it would be between the #5, and #6, depending on where i was in the tournament and how many races in would affect who i would select, as well as the odds at 0 min to post.

#2, #6 at odds of 7/2 or higher on BOTH. IF not, pass.

Going into the gate the #2 was 3/1 and the #6 at 4/1, so i gave in and made the play. The #2 ran a good race and finished 3rd, i got 7/2 on the #6. Always good to get an early winner especially an a Maiden claiming race which is my worst area of play, but I'm improving!
Heres the results:
