Energy Goes To Keeneland

KEENELAND RACE 1 — ENERGY 5 & EXDC ANALYSIS

NewPace projects an Unpressured High environment with a Pace of Race of 73, while Energy 5 identifies an Early/Presser Variegate. The #9 commands attention, ranking first in Early Pace, Presser, and matchup efficiency (UXR 0.720), while capturing Paragon A and Energizer honors. EXDC reinforces that assessment, identifying the #9 as its strongest Early contender.

However, the #4 presents an intriguing alternative, ranking first in Hidden Energy, Sustained Pace, Late Energy, and Factor X. It also leads Late EXDC and earns Energy 5's Paragon B designation. The #8 remains competitive, ranking second in Sustained Pace and Late Energy while occupying the second position in Late EXDC.

The lesson: An unpressured race does not eliminate the importance of sustained energy. It rewards horses capable of securing position while preserving sufficient energy to finish. The #9 represents early control, while the #4 offers the strongest sustained-energy profile.

$20 win 4 and 9

let's see how it plays out.

This race was yesterday and the 8 caught the 9 just before the wire.
