Using Pace Figures
Since the beginning of January I have been using CJ'S Figures[they are excellent] with Super Kgen and it has worked well for me.I get my contenders by using the top 4 pace horses in the race using the figs and then run them through KGEN[thanks to Ragin for turning me on to it].I have never seen any program hit as many longshots and exactas then Super KGEN.I will also corrolate other CJ numbers with the program.By doing this 6 week test it shows me that the 2 can be used in combination.I see many though that use just CJ'S Figs to hit it big,but I think that they are better interperting numbers then I am.
This is not an ad for CJ'S Figs as he is no longer offering the program.Im just reporting what I have found out.Jeff |

I think K Gen is the best program Doc ever put out before Validator et al.
The graphs make it very easy to see aberant lines and avoid them. I would put in all lines for every horse that earned an 80 ( or 70, at cheaper tracks) no matter what the line looked like. Then throw out all the aberant lines, then use the top 3 early and top 3 late. Most times, this was not 6 horses. Then, into T Mation, and use the 2 adjust if called for - assuming all the horses were true contenders. Did very well, but ohhhhh, that manual entry! |

Greetings,
I too use CJ's figs....IMO, the most precise and best I have used. I try to incorporate them into the Taulbot and Matchup methods. If I am careful and methodical, they work well....if not, well...figs and info are only aas good as the user...LOL. I definately want to give K GEN a run around the block using CJ figs. It would be the first piece of Sartin SW I would be trying and I am anxious to get cracking on it. Where is it available? Cost? What downloads does it use? etc.... I will also do some searches on the forum. Thanks, Cecil Shoeless....I may need some help getting CJ figs into K Gen....we will talk once I get going.. |

Contenders
Tom and Cecil
Jeff is my inspiration I'm kind of sure Jeff hand enters lines The thing about Jeff is he is a excellent contender/paceline selector I bet he enters very few lines per race Tom I hand enter lines for horse now and then and I love the kgen graph lines You really can see a bad line GS RK
