I like the 1 in the first, but twice in his last ten races he's wired four-horse fields. He has a lot more company today. He has run well off similar layoffs before though.

I'm going to sit it out and see how the track is faring.

As mentioned by Serling, the 11, Grangerardo, ducked in badly at the start, last out, and was extremely green the entire race. If he runs straight today (probably a tall order) he should be right there. I think he's worth a gamble at >= 10:1.
