Lone Speed Horses Exactas Sprints

I have been reading a book by Mark Cramer on betting exactas. He states that after a 200 race study 2nd place horses that were already in 2nd at the 4 fur mark ended up finishing that way 46% of the time.He says you will be looking more for the pace stalker rather than presser.I thought this was interesting and would pass it along and seems to make sense.I know a lot of people dont care for Cramer but he does come up with stuff that goes against the grain.Any comments on this?Jeff

Exactas

Hi Jeff

when I first joined Sartin He was real big into the Cramer Olmsted newsletter
He used to send me them (no I don't still have them )

I have the 55% percent solution manual I lost the file but I just
had it rescaned yesterday

This manual is all you.. Lots of references to the old programs

Bill

Bill,I did print that and keep it from the last time you posted it.I do remember now Doc seemed to be a big Cramer fan.I was more into Olmstead with things like his trainer patterns book and he used to run a very nice speed figs service.I really havent heard anything from him in awhile.Jeff
