"Freddie"

I ran into my friend Freddie last Saturday at the Meadowlands when I hooked up with Bill. This is a man instrumental in Doc's deceleration pars from back in the 80's. he has forgotten more than I will ever know about pace.

Freddie has Parkinson's. It had been over 2 months since I had seen him. His health has deteriorated drastically. He can not stand up straight anymore and it really upset me. He said his medicine is not really helping him the way it used to. He is still a relatively young man. Life really is not fair.

I wanted to work a couple of races with him using his favorite software " Synergism". I could see this was not gonna happen. he looks at me and outa nowhere asks" well are we gonna work a race"?. I said sure and he gave me a program with his pacelines marked to enter into Syn. I left him and went to my table and entered them into Syn.

I came back and told him what the 2nd call showed and gave him the readouts and info he needed for decision making. WITHOUT any hesitation he peeled off a 20 spot and told me to go make 2 10 dollar win bets. I bet for him ( put a little somethin on them for myself too ) and watched him get the 9 dollar winner. he tells me " that was easy Richie now go get my money".

Go head Freddie! Feel better man

Richie
