I asked for some help a few post back ,I was looking for a email system to notify me
when this horse was going to run Papwasarollingbone
I used Trackmasters system and It works fine
Papa is running today at Philadelphia Park in race 6

Now I have been watching this horse since its 5th race back
when I bet it in that 6.5 race and took my $7.80

I bet it again in race 4 after the short layoff
The next time it ran I saw it was claimed for $5000
The new Trainer raised Papa
up to $7500 and cut the distance to 5.5

Now I was wondering why? The horse won at 6.5 ran bad at 6.0
and the ealy late and Med energy seem too low for a short sprint at Philly

MS Gonzalez in the next race stayed at $7500 and went back to 6.0
Again ,Papa did nothing , BTW in this race Papa was entered on Saturday but was scratched and ran the next day
another thing that i wondered about

Now 6 days later Papa was entered again still at $7500 But now running at 8.3 furlongs

I ran this horse with both Spec and Vector this day and it rated very bad off the sprint lines
and in the race went off 18/1 The winner of this race was a real sharp trainer angle that was hammered to 5/2
from 12/1 ML

Looking at the race I see that Papa went out early but tired
and finished last

Today The trainer has kept Papa at 8.3 but dropped back to $5000
also This will be 4 races in arow running on a Sat/Sunday!

Its going to wet today at Philly
I see a nice record on off tracks
Maybe today Papa will be a rolling loose on the lead

I did notice today Papa was riden by apprentice

claimer

just guessing, and imo
1) maybe no one else wanted to ride this horse this time and the "bug" tried to get a pay check or experience. maybe no one was availiable.
2) weight. i don't even look at weights. did it help here? 122-->109. (est).
maybe if one horse is carring 129 and all others are at 105 in a 1 3/4.
i dont' know putting 5-6 lbs on a 1,000 lb horse comparing to the others. and in most claimer how often does one see lg amounts of weight swing. now a 50lb bag of potatoes on a horse might make a differance. which brings me to why weights are included. by the conditions.
what doc say class is performance is class. i don't look so much at the claming price/ALW as i look at the Purse price. a drop or raise in price to me is the difference. if a horse is going from a nw of 1, to a nw2, then the distance and the purse might change. but the claiming price will stay the same. Richiep did that wonderful MNR track pfofile. i tried to do the same thing using, 4000cl pr 10000, nw2, but could not find the same race twice in 1 mo! i guess whats stated is the performance lets the horse go up or down in purse money. but that's mo. if there are trainer who read this board / post, please explain if i'm wrong-right -half baked or halfway.
john
ps. Just IMO

Hi John

Thank you for you help

I sure hope Papa gets back to that 6.5 form
I would love somehow get a group of us together
and claim a horse Papa would be a nice start

I really don't know about weight either
I have noticed many young apprentace riders win alot of races with the few pounds off as soon as they win enough races and have to ride full weight they are never the same

I have a friend who is a trainer who post over at Paceadvantage
I will ask him to check out Papa
