Ac Opening April 26th Be There - Pace and Cap

For any of you old timers out there like myself Atlantic City will be starting their turf o rama on April 26th.I used to love the summer meets they used to have.But then the casinos came to town and bye bye AC.Shoeless

shoe, you ever play Garden State? I used to like to play there when I was at the Stardust sportsbook in Las Vegas. What memories of that place. Probably the first sports book I ever played.

Houndog,Yes, matter of fact I went to GS when it first opened.The place looked like a shopping mall but racing there never took off. Rick the stick Wilson was the dominant rider ,he got hurt really bad in Maryland a few years back and havent heard much about him.When he got all alone on the front end you knew it was a winner great early speed rider.I wouldnt be surprised to see Meadowlands go all trotters and leave Monmouth as the only track.I wonder how Monmouth plans to handle the turf racing this summer.I heard from Bill and RX that the turf wont be ready this year.Shoe
