Wonder Why
When I first started using KGEN I was hitting races all over the place just using the 1 adjust. Then all of a sudden boom I wasnt getting the winners any longer and they started showing up on the 2 adjust. It wasnt a matter of switching tracks I was playing the same ones.I got so frustrated on if I should use the 1 or 2 adjust I gave up.That's why I prefer Synergism 4 it makes it's own adjustments.I started wondering why they couldnt make KGEN like that without all the adjustments and do it automatically. Were they just doing it so people would have to keep attending seminars or is it because it is energy based.Jeff

Hello Jeff
You know how much I loved KGEN I keep having daydreams that Ted will make the kgraphs in Rdss My feeling is that the 1 or 2 adjust feature and that the user had to make this call was put in for the wide abilitys of the clients, Since the programs readouts were than and still are 100% the result of paceline and contender selection, Having a way to help shippers from slower tracks or to help clients who were wary of making pace line adjustments - like I would be - This seemed like a workable feature I think Doc and other seminar speakers did as good a job as they could pointing out that the client needs to judge and make the call. If the 2 adjust is needed. I know Doc had a spot play that when the same horses were 1 -2 on both the 1 and 2 adjust it was a good spot play bet GS Bill |

Closer To Energy
Jeff, KGEN would be closer to Energy then Synergism IV for sure. Kgen as Energy makes the adjustments depending on the horses that are put in. I think Doc would call the Energy type of programs NON-LINEAR as readouts will change depending on the mix and match of horses put in.
Synergism on the other hand is more linear in it's approach. If you put 5 horses in Synergism IV and then remove a horse using the same pacelines the readouts will not change. On the other hand depending on the horse you remove in the Energy type programs using the same pacelines the ordering of the readouts may be different. |
