The Chaos Race

6th Race - Santa Anita - Wednesday, April 15th, 2009

http://www.brisnet.com/bris_link/pdf...ert_144615.pdf

This is the penultimate chaos race. The lowest Morning Line Odds are 7/2. All nine horses are contenders. The top five contenders are tied in TPR and SSR.

Dick Mithchell offered the following advice for chaos races: bet the five largest exactas among your contenders.

In this race I made small win bets on #3 and #6, the two biggest overlays.

I also bet 3-6, 6-3 and three other exactas. $2 on each. Total exacta cost for the race was $10.

Although I didn't score with these exactas, you can imagine it doesn't take too many hits to cover the losing races.

These chaos races don't come around that often, but when they do I always jump on the "Five-Exacta" wagon. It's proven to be profitable.
