BEL R1:
looking for the 2, Of All Times, to wire, coming back after very short rest. Don't think that much of the two chalks, though the 3, Prince Woodman, adds blinkers and could be there early as well. exacta: 2 / 3, 6 |

Unfortunately, the piece of **** dirt horse, Wollastan Bay, with absolutely NO chance in the race, is gunned to the lead in 21.86 and our idiot jock, Maylan Studart, duels with him early, then takes back a bit and launches another bid on the turn. This turns out to be a perfect setup for the closers. So much for getting an advantage.

Well
When a horse has gone from 6F to 8F to 7F and then is back at 6F today, you sort of expect it to have a bit more 'bottom' cutting back. A pace advantage in this case means that the horse can wire if nothing else goes or can control the race by sitting just BEHIND any other speed in the race. Clearly, the connections of the 2 were not aware that they had this advantage. Dominguez is like a VULTURE: he let's the others kill themselves off and then pounces for the win. |

DEL R2:
not a very good bunch; 2 of which recently broke their maidens and appear to be the pacesetters however, I think the 6, Tipsy Saint, might actually be the best early in the race bet to win @ >= 10:1 |
