here is a built in error: Mountaineer times are far too fast when they transfer...even to Aqueduct.

In one of his very good books, Dr. William Quirin chronicled a horse know to have seconditis (much like the 5th today at Aqu) called Jacques Who. He showed him much like Repenthouse "caught in the act of winning" as he did not seem to know whtere the finish line was so he could come in again second.
