Jack Van Berg Bio - Pace and Cap

I recently finished reading "Jack: From Grit to Glory", a biography of Jack Van Berg. It was written by Chris Kotulak, who has been doing the in-house pre-race TV commentary and TVG commentary at Remington Park and just moved to Chief Operating Officer at Fonner Park.

I found the book to be very interesting, especially for this guy who broke his maiden as a bettor at Ak-Sar-Ben back in the day. I recommend the book, especially to those familiar with Jack, but I can't see that I will read it again.

I will mail the book free of charge to the first person that PMs me and promises to read it in a reasonable period of time and to then repeat this offer and send it on to another Pace and Cap member.
