Too late now, but NEXT year, do this for fun.

Send a self addressed stamped envelope with a valentine inside to one of TWO places: Postmaster, U.S. Postal Service EITHER Valentine, Nebraska
OR Loveland, Colorado and have them just postmark the letter from there to your significant other. They love it.
Just use a zip code directory to know where to address them.

When my late wife was alive, I did this to all 50 states and Washington D.C. and she received them for a week from places with very "horsey" names like Nashua, N.H., Louisville Ky, or wild ones like Remote, Oregon or from the old song Lukenback Texas, or the town where I was born La Grange , Georgia.

Valentine Nebraska USED to use a heart shaped postmark for the valentine's season for all that were sent from there.

It's a small world. My wife was born in Warm Springs, Ga. and grew up in Greenville, GA. When they went to the "big city" they went to LaGrange. We still visit family in that area.
