Jim wrote me to say that anyone who has purchased his new book can get the PDF version for mobile devices (minus Charts and PPs). Just email him and ask.

Again, Jim's web page, with a description of his new book, is --> HERE.

Book

This is Jim Lehane.

I'm a new member with the username of pickwick.

I want to thank all members here that purchased my book, "Calibration Handicapping - The Next Level."

As Ted mentioned, all book buyers who want a pdf version of the book (without pp's or charts) can email me at pickwick@msn.com to get a copy.

I look forward to a 30-day evaluation of the RDSS software and to chatting with you.

== I'll read more often to get more familiar with the contents in the book; it is an excellent book and Jim Lehane has to be an excellent handicapper!

shoeless, I agree with you, there is a lot of great information in there.

Highly recommend it.

Thanks,
DSL

Folks, a clarification to my earlier comments: Jim's book is NOT an update, nor is it new - it's the same book he published in 2002. I've owned a copy for years and bought a new one based on - well, just not paying attention to his website. Jim graciously and quickly arranged a refund, and still sent me the PDFs - thanks Jim!

It's still a good book, with many valuable contributions to anyone's handicapping library.

I am very sorry if I lead anyone to believe it was an update to his earlier work.

Ted

Jeebs -
Very nice on your part in Welcoming Jim Lehane.
I also give him a Warm Welcome to the board!!

Ted Craven -
No worries at all. The 2002 Edition of 'Calibration Handicapping - The Next Level' is STILL a good read to become a good Thoroughbred Handicapper!!

Thanks to All,

DSL

Jim Lehane is a class act. Nice to see him online again. His book was extremely good as it contained a unique perspective on the horse handicapping puzzle.
