I wanted to bump this up again, back to the basic's
While it has been a while , recently it was suggested that maybe going back to doing some , 20 race cycles, may be helpful, maybe even theraputic.
Last time it did not last that long, doing 20 race cycles in somewhat real-time, like Live-play, even thou personally I do this with 3-4 different people occasionally, thou not quite 20 races, more like a Card for the day, or Mtr at night. We do okay, and then we also had a few terrible days and the purpose we seek is to better ourselves, and try to find why we lost and celebrate the wins , with someone else, always a boost in self-esteem, something I think Doc always wanted in us , was a Happy , Positive, Confident believe in what we were doing, and that was picking and wagering on winners, and having the right mind-set is a major portion of that. The old 20 Race cycle allowed you to tune in your wagering decisions to better find your best niche in the game, no matter what or where it is from, and this too was and still is a little bit of cunundrum of mine, what track to play. As so many people who use RDSS have told me in the past, this works everywhere, and I of believe them all, so maybe this summer CD/ASD/NYRA/FL/DelMar and Woodbine will be my tracks to look at all summer, with MTR, left for a more recreational type of play at night, for the fun of it, yes I still do that, play for the fun of it, win or lose, I enjoy it. Not sure yet about posting my 20 race cycles, but may be willing to do so with enough interest, but it would be alot of possible pass races during work days, as I would post before scratches and before Track conditions are known, as Off Turf, muddy, etc..., yet I will also have a few days where waiting till Post time to wager, can be done, and those days plays will encompass a different 20 race cycle. For years I made my plays and then drove all day and checked them at night, overall I did pretty well and were happy with the results, as I would try to check the TWC.com the night before to aniticipate the weather, where scratches were tougher, because RDSS does not have whether the entry is an AE or MTO , and when 16+ horses are listed it would be nice to know who is who and then I cap using no AE'S or MTO on sunny days, not really rocket science, but I am straying off track and will end now. patrick
