TRACK Models

I have gotten a lot from the contributors of this site over the last year . In order to start to pay back , attached is a spreadsheet for track models that I have developed. It uses the base export format that Ted has implemented in RDSS2. You take the exported data and paste it in the all data tab. ( Paste Special values only)

The data will then populate through the rest of the tabs. The model for the WIN horse is the second tab and the model for the place horse is the third tab. I make use of the query function in excel (google sheets ) to do the analysis . I find it much better than the filter capability as using functions like AVE and COUNT are straightforward. It is very easy to change the queries to do different cuts of the data.

You can paste different tracks in the all data tab and just select one specific track in the model tabs.

The example I have posted is from the recent Fair Grounds meet.

As an aside, the spreadsheet was actually developed using google sheets. I use the google suite of tools rather than Microsoft. They are free and I find the sharing capability superior. I was wondering how many others use the google suite of tools?
