Happy Birthday Pop

Today would have been my Dad's 85th Birthday. He passed away 17 years ago which doesn't seem possible.

I tortured him for so many years with my lifestyle and behaviors yet he always loved me.

He would always tell me" Son you have goodness in your heart. Why are you afraid to share it with others? Life is too short to be ****ing around with the nonsense you are doing."

He was a genius in mathematics and his Sister made the Who's Who in mathematics in the U.S. I believe.

Most of all he was a loving husband to my Mom and a terrific role model to me and my younger brother. He would tell us " Being a real man means loving one woman and one woman only. Remember that before you go and settle down."

I wish I could have just one day to see him now and tell him everything I never did. That's what prayer is for I guess.

Anyway Happy Birthday Pop!

Miss you and I love you!

Richie

message to your father

don't worry about not letting your father know....he knows. What a nice tribute to your Dad....
By the way, Richie, my mother's birthday was March 15!!!! She used to say "beware the Ides of March" She would have been 102 if she was alive.
Love, Mrs. Bocci
