The 10th @ BEL today 7 July23 was a MD Clm. and my workout procedure cane in to nail the W bet # 3 (.70 EX, $63 and Tri for $.50 paid $64.00. # 3 had the top W/0-100, #1 99 & #8 94. I downgraded the 10 horse for low odds, off over 90 days and up in class. It came in 3-1-8. It made for a profitable day.

While only a small profit for the day it beats losing, and incorporating W/O into your analysis will up your game. One's quiver needs to be filled with different broadheads for different situations.

Workouts since last raced? workouts in the last 30 days? workouts in continuous pattern (esp. if not raced)?

Bill, workout since last race and especially a new top.

FTS best workout among the field, top 2 or 3 best ones.

On FTS the workout can be 4 or 5 workouts back. Whatever its top or best % rating is, no matter when it occurred. Better ones also have a workout from the gate and a 5F work also. Ties separate with trainers' ability or best odds.

I key in on horses with a new top since last race, I suppose I didn't emphasis this enough.
Post # 37 of this thread " Take notice of a new top." They're in red and should jump off the page and smack you. These are the most important ones and most profitable ones.

Others I use to determine their present form as to improving or declining and if the cycle is a new one or an old cycle. They help me to discount horses or elevate them of my final contenders.

Hope this clarifies what I look for.

Horses form generally falls within a 30 day cycle but a new top since last race is the best indicator of improvement and a sign the trainer is cracking down and has found a spot.

Took the family out to dinner today for the shrimp special @ Red Lobster. Took the " Monkey" along as a reward for his hard work lately. I thought he would like the coconut shrimp, but they were a little sweet for his taste.

After returning home I decided to go wild in the jungle and look at the last couple races for BEL, GP & WO. I didn't want to waste the downloads for just a few races so I just used my workout stuff using just my brain. Like Bradshaw I can do this just looking at their w/o's.

I nailed the 9th & 10 races at WO for some very nice profits today just swinging on the vines through the jungle and flying by the seat of my pants.
The 3 in the 9th paid $51.60, EX. $69. 60. I had the show horse in my top 4 but didn't play the Tri. Hit the DD w/ 10th race $116.30 for $1, Had winner of 10th & ex.

The big winner had 9 of 10 sprints races and only 1 ugly route race however in its earning box its highest SR was at today's route distance (93), plus by its pace rating in Bris it rated in last race. Used % Med. in my head also. So why can't it stretch out today with a very good recent work since last race. BAM! He gets up for win. How sweet it tis.
