Tim I decided to try out your process last night at Turfway. It actually hit the early pick-5. Only thing was the method was solid but my wagering messed it up. I wanted to keep my ticket small. And the horse that beat me on the wire in the 5th race was 11-1. It was the 5th ranked RX3 horse but ranked 1 in EPR. So the method is solid for sure.

Hi Brian. Tough beat on the p6. I can state with yrs of stats that the winner will be in the top 5 ranked PL/BPP HORSES 90% of the time For those struggling with contender selection I highly recommend they use the approach as their contenders. They won't be disappointed. As for how much to bet we all have comfort zones and should stay in them most of the time. It is ok to take a shot once in awhile.

Hi Tim

These days there are a lot of 6 horse fields so using the top 5 you
are only throwing out 1 horse.

Any opinion on further being able to reduce the number

Jeff the approach remains the same whether it is a 24 horse or 6 horse field. We can't control the field sizs but we can control our approach which is the most important thing. Well if look for the races where PL & BPP have the same top3 you have a chnce to win or place over 90% of the time. Pretty good stat for exotic players no matter the field size,
Tim
