Bill! Say it isn't so! Oh well, a man's gotta do what his heart tells him. I wish you all the best in the new place where you will call home.

"Head west young man," as the sayng goes but you're not really leaving. You'll still be right here at Pace and Cap with all your friends.

Have a safe trip!

Jon

P.S. I expect a full report from the Left coast once you are comfortably ensconced there!

Welcome to the area, Bill ( or should I call you Jed). You'll love it. Feel free to contact me if you want to go to Del Mar races some day.

You've got cahonies bigger then Secretariat.
I think you'll love it out here, with all our nuts and
fruitcakes included. Can't beat the weather year round, and the filly's
are exceptional and I think Miss Right lives here too. Have a great
trip across our great country. Hope to have a Pace and Cap Day for
all your west coasters. Look forward to meeting you someday. All
the Best Bill, now, and in the future.

John

goodbye

Thanks everybody

As often is the case with me, as I turned in for the night and had a chance
to think about the days events .
Turns out that of all the work involved with moving, tying up loose ends
cancleing things changing mail address ect, the thing that was the hardest
was the goodbyes.
But I saw the messages as they came in and they all lifted me up.

I will make it. I will miss New Jersey
But California is on the horizon

Well Bill, you finally did it. I'm proud of you. The only thing to do now is onward and upward.

Say hi to your Mom and Dad for me and tell them they raised a very good son.

You are going to do well, I know it. All my good vibes go out to you.

Take care and don't look back.

Never thought I'd see those words.. I'll do my best to hold down the fort in New Jersey.. I've had many friends make the move and NOT 1 said I wish I stayed in New Jersey. Even those that came back did so with a gun to their heads (not literally of course). Enjoy...

Barb, Our summer meeting at Saratoga was a treasure that
few can know the value of. I promised myself not to let these
wonderful people down. These people who took time out of there lives
to come and enjoy what I enjoy, People who know so much more about
life but want to be with others ..just because ... no other reason
just want to be with there friends ,, I listened to you Just as I listen to
Ted and Rich and Charlie and Missy and Chris and Mike and Darrel
and Mike everybody and I said l won't let them down

But you hit it home . I told myself that day. as you looked me in the face
and said "what do you want to happen"

what will happen if you ....

and the topper everytime I had a "Yeah But"
you said SO WHAT What is best for Bill ??

thank you

Bill

Joe Takach

Bill you will be joining the "Body Language" expert Joe Takach who made the move from the East Coast (I think he played Philadelphia Park) to the Del Mar area.

Bill best of luck with your move and I am thinking you will not miss the winter months that you had to endure over the years.

Wow, Bill. That's a major life change.

Allow me to offer you these words of wisdom:

"Change is inevitable, except from vending machines." -Unknown

But seriously...Carlsbad is great. You're gonna love it.
