Model help
I am always interested in discussions about “models”. Also, in the past I have noticed that among some, there is confusion about “track profiles” and “decision models”.
Track profiles are based on how horses won their races and therefore, gives you a profile of how horses are winning at a given track. Everyone should be using the same information here. Decision models are models kept on the winners of races as well, however, these models are based on information about the winner as a result of line selection. For this reason, models may differ widely from one person to another. I think it would be interesting if others would post their thoughts on the most informative way to keep these profiles and models.
