Sir I have not looked but it was horrific, and what you did breaking it down for Thursday was very nice of you, I have not done that for Friday, but I can say it was just as bad as Thursday was, I played what I should not of and forced myself to find plays, like always do, this is normal for me, not out of the ordinary.

I will keep doing this till I get better and more disciplined and focused, as we can see thru my actions I am still not completely focused, and yet I so much want to be, I would love to dedicate the time I do to work to this and finally do something all day that I could enjoy, but I must wait till that happens, but I am on the journey there, that much I promise...

Now as to my results all were posted except the last 2 races aMon of which I won the last race with the 13 Horse, so 17 races were played, 1 was a pass race I put up which I hit but I passed due to low value, and I also hit 6 races , not 7 of 16, not too good, let me see the value of the win

Total won 57.00 bet 16 races times 5 = 80.00 - 57.00 = -23.00 loss

I think those are the numbers , but not positive on math and process

thanks Patrick

If you don't take the time to keep your records properly, you are not going to be able to see where you can make specific improvements in your approach.

Keeping and analyzing records sucks, at least for me. It especially sucks if you've got a 29% loss, but being honest with yourself and trying to make specific improvements for the next 20 race cycle will ease the pain.

Why don't you stick with 2 tracks and cap maybe 4-5 races a day until you get yourself going? You'll have a 20 race cycle in 4-5 days and you will have time to do a thorough job of capping and making your bets.

Start your analysis of each race by analyzing the first two m/l favorites and see if it makes sense to "play" against them. The first two m/l favorites win about half the races, so if you can find some holes in those two, there may be value in playing the race.

It doesn't have to be an earth shattering analysis. Maybe he's coming off a 200+ day layoff? Maybe he's dropping very suspiciously in class? Maybe he's a dead closer in a lone E race or vice versa? Maybe he's stepping up to this level while other contenders have already done well at the level? Maybe he's stretching out or switching distances or surface?

If the favorites are legit, they shouldn't have too many question marks surrounding them.

Great advice and yes recordkeeping sucks, but to not do it is suicide, that is why I am posting here on the board my cycle's, to help me break that bad habit of no recordkeeping. Also I will only look at a few tracks and play the horse's I been playing, like Monmouth, Belmont, soon Saratoga, CD, now ELP, some WO and AP, that is about it for me, and alot depends what day I look at them. But I ahve Capped for Sunday and wiil scan in my picks today, as I must go to the open house here Saratoga Race Track
