Here is a race I just worked and I thought I would post it "before the fact".
Chances are, I'll get it wrong. If I do, it won't bother me because it's merely a test of combining RDSS ( ADJ SR ) and using these numbers as an Beyer type variant with MPH.
I normally post my selections before the fact but on occasion I do re-work a race to improve my results and for no other reason. If this is considered to be red boarding by some then so be it. However, my intent is to share a learning experience with the group. I have nothing to prove or sell.

MNR 11-22-11 Race -2

I'll probably get this race wrong as well.

Opinions on either one or both of these races are welcomed and encouraged

Bill, just a comment: as you know, we treat 'red-boarding' (posting a race selection or analysis after the fact) a little differently here at PaceandCap because our mission is primarily to educate, to share and to uplift (rather than, say, to simply 'beat one's chest', brag, or deceive). All your posts are squarely grounded in the honourable tradition of teaching, researching, enquiring - and we welcome them all!

Now, let's investigate these races.

Ted

I'm beta testing RDSS and sharing my observations with all that are interested.

I am far from the scientist you are, but I thoroughly enjoy your posts.

Hi Bill,

Side question if you don't mind. I notice your MPH readouts have the program number on them. My version of MPH does not have them. Is that something you added or maybe we use different versions?

Jim,
Unfortunately, RDSS files are not exportable to MPH.
Because I use the ADJ SR numbers and the distance adjusted data which is equalized to todays distance, I put all the data in manually.
When you do this, you can put the program numbers in.
Look at the beginning of this thread and you will know how to do this.
If you want to do the same and have a problem doing it, I will walk you through it. Let me know.
