Your observations are correct.
Those 2 horses that you indicated were the speed.

Although the race favored an early type which was my conclusion and not the programs,
a presser or early presser can qualify if neither front runner, in my opinion, is not sustained enough to win. This was the case here.
The (2) and (7) were both the best sustained but the (2) was closer to the pace. I failed to see that and went with the (7) who was the most sustained contender.
There were other proven factors that I looked at and used to make a decision which was the 1,7,2.

Synergism 2 seems like a fairly simple program but if you can't interpret the screens correctly you will not succeed with it. My mistake is an example of what happened. I did not make a correct analysis of the read-outs and had my contenders in the wrong order.
So we will chalk this race up as a learning experience.
