I have been around this year and I was around in 2016, the last year before this one that I was handicapping. From 2017 thru 2021 I was not able to play the races. The majority of my posts on paceandcap are on the selections sub forum, so I really have no idea who you are, sorry. When some dude on the internet alleges that everything Howard told you is BS and that there are only two ways of handicapping, his way and the wrong way, I think you have a right to ask that dude on the internet to put up or shut up. If he slinks off muttering or makes personal attacks instead of backing up his allegations, I think that pretty much shows everyone how valid his allegations are. No one has to "prove" anything on the internet, they can just crap on everyone else and then claim they are above it all, that is what makes the internet such a wonderful place. I am here if you ever want to back up your allegations. Otherwise, have a good life and good luck at the track, Dan |

When it comes to the contest here on RDSS I don't make the rules or select the tracks played.
I specifically quote Sartin, his words not mine. Good enough for him its good enough for me. Pace Advandage huh? Are you even using RDSS? [ ... ] You made the challenge, and I answered it. [ ... ] We could even make a nice side bet and let Ted hold the $$$$. "That is what makes the internet such a wonderful place." [ ... ] [ ... ] Mitch44 P.S. BTW I have better things to do [ ... ] Last edited by Ted Craven; 12-06-2022 at 01:15 PM. Reason: unacceptable language editted at request of Mitch44 [ ... ] |

Ted My sincere apologies to you and members of the site.
My passion to steer down a more successful path to travel was clouded by oxygen depredation due to having my head up my 4th point of contact. (gluteus maximus) Mitch44 |

Dan, don't tease us. Just cite the passage please.
Anyway, we're decades past using what Doc wrote in the 'Bible/Follow Ups' as the definitive and only recommended handicapping tools. People should use what WORKS for them. If one is profitable (and enjoys the process) - keep on doing what you're doing. If not, yet, people could try some of the advice of reputable/profitable members here. Ted

I agree with Lt1, and appreciate Ted's response to Dan. I, too, was wondering what Dan was specifically referring to.
