Wow!
Just read these threads and have to say differences of opinion will always be there, always has, always will.
Lets just go forward with positive thoughts for a great opportunity to continue enjoying the experience and information available here , plus new and caring friends.

Life is too short to dwell on negative energy. It is better spent handicapping
and watching our picks turn for home, and cross the finish line.

And last I am not opposed to making this a pay for membership club, having contributed voluntarily every other month as a member.

Thumbs up

Bill, why do you bother? You and Ted have the blessing of Doc Sartin to do what you are doing in so far as the Sartin methodology. Richie has “The Hat’s” blessing as to what he is doing. At least 98% of the members on this site (and I am sure lurkers) are grateful for the efforts that you, Ted, and Richie provide day in and day out as to all provided information and usage ideas whether old or new for both The Match Up and Sartin methodologies.

You cannot make everyone happy so just concentrate on the 98% that seem to be grateful. To really put this grumbling to rest why not just ask for a vote of the current membership by way of an up or down or if even necessary comments as to the way this site is being administered. My vote is a big thumps up—keep up the good work!!!

I saw the post and feel exactly the same as you. Without Bill's vision, hard work and patience none of this would be possible.

Here I am, late to the party. My 2 cents worth -

Bill, a big thanks for keeping the Sartin days going
Richie, a big thanks for keeping the match up up alive and bringing the Hat to us
Ted - hats off for program for the future

Even the Brohamer wing of the methodolgy is still chugging along under Ken Massa at HTR - who knew Phase III had so much potential!

Good to see Michael doing good - he was a great teacher and always a class act in person. I owe him a great deal.

And, CJ, who is doing really innovative with pace in his Pace Figures- as Jeff can attest!

Tim has carried a branch of the newer programs forward, and I credit him for some really good ideas as well.

This is indeed a great time to be a pace handicapper. All the ideas can be translated to the various approaches, and we are very lucky to have Howard and Jim represented here by such class acts. The match up thread has been a real eye-opener.

Hats off to Richie and Bill for all they do for us all, unselfishly.

Who else has the BLESSING and Participation/council of Doc Sartin and
Jim THE HAT Bradshaw and their contributions??

Don't see them anywhere or any other forum , to my knowledge , at this level
of assistance, so who better to judge than the creators.

Don't think The Doc or The Hat would consider many other programs to be
Sartin Methodology , though they may have had their ideas from such.

He would borrow what he liked/worked and enhance the established
programs , but it would be Sartin/Bradshaw at its core.

Sartin Methodology is about exploring tools/research to ENHANCE the
premise, NOT eclipse it.

Yeeeeaaaaahh, Bill, you definately GOT an agenda.

To enhance everything "Sartin", DUUUUUUUH!!!!

By the way, who DOESN'T have a business plan......you have no choice.

Cause even if you want it to be free, you still got to pay for hosting, etc. ,
and if you have no business plan to handle the cost of said project,
your project is NO LONGER AVAILABLE.

I guess PA and other websites have NO AGENDA/BUSINESS PLAN......yeah....

I can " TELL ".....by all the SPONSERED LINKS and Google ads plastered
all over their sites.

Hell , everyone has an agenda. Whats wrong with that??

I LIKE PACE AND CAP'S AGENDA.

We should be mad at ourselves for getting sucked into this.

Some people are like blackholes, bermuda triangles.

No matter how much perspective, sincerity, logic, or explanation, you will
be pouring in that quicksand FOREVER tryin to fill it .

I've seen YES men do everything and kiss every nugget of their masters
back side, attentive every second of the 24 hrs, AND THEY STILL GET
YELLED AT ; some people are born and go to their graves dissatisfied no
matter how many people appease them.

Bill, keep doing what you're doing. There are always going to be detractors but they can be ignored.

Always something to pick at

Heres an example :

The Giants won the SuperBowl. NY residents was partying all day long,
drinks galore, havin a good ole time, happiness and good cheer abound.

That night the Rangers was losing and lost the game.

It was said there was so much cussing and anger, one wrong word may
have set off a mass beat down. Vulgarity abound to the threshold of
violence.

So what good is good if you're always looking to engage, occupy and find
the bad ?
