I posted re the 1 and 2 earlier, but in the end, just doubled up on the 1 instead of making two bets since the 1 seemed to be at such an advantage.

Thanks again for the Pizzola window tip.

I'm telling you that maneuver alone took me from so so on the turf to almost my mainline breadwinner. WHAT a turnaround!!

Using it, I caught the winner of the eighth race at Belmont on Wednesday and it paid $62.50.

Yesterday, I caught the third race at $11.80 and the eighth race at $11.00.

Today, I played 5 races and hit on two - both of them turf heats with one paying $19.80.

No way is it going anywhere else. I figure the amount of money I've put through the machines and spent on some three dozen handicapping books, plus all of the time spent doing R&D is the equivalent of a college education.

I'll spend time with anyone who wants to learn, but I always tell people who ask for tips alone that this is a full-time job for me and that I go asking them to share their income with me. I've got plenty of friends in the stock market, I've never asked one for a tip.

Besides, it would cloud my judgment if I had to think that someone else's money is riding on my decisions. I'll come here and post my picks because I know the others here all mostly of the same mindset. We're willing to make our mistakes in front of those who share our interests, and we're willing to learn from those who have wisdom to pass on to others.

And I for one, welcome the most radical thinkers most of all. Nothing is so great that it can't be made better.
