That's OK, Mike - I'm not upset

The reason you see those figures back in a Feb 21 card is that the RDSS database has been updated subsequent to then by 'bad' data from MNR cards you downloaded and converted over the past few days. If you were to download and reinstall the RDSS Demo Database (where that race card was provided), you will find that it looks like the following image, with all info correct:

TrackMaster has only regenerated the cards from May 20 and forward, so I think if you redownload a new card that has that horse in it (and thus corrected data), you will find when you go back to that Feb 21 card that the numbers are magically corrected!

Way to go TrackMaster!!

Cheers,

Ted

Is data problem from Trackmaster resolved?

I am currently working the Pha card for May27. In the first, the 4th line back for the #1 horse (Sprint Queen) has a SR of 0. The race was run at Aqu(68days). Accoring to the running line she was 8 lengths behind at the stretch call in a 6F race and ends up beaten 65 lengths at the finish. This looks awfully suspicious. 65 lenghts is pretty close to if not more than a furlong. So how can a horse end up being beaten a whole furlong when she was only 8lengths behind at the leader at that point. It sounds like she just stopped and turned around and ran in the opposite direction.
Does anybody have an explanation for this running line?

Mike,

Here's the Result Chart. That horse did not finish. The chart shows the same final beaten lengths, though I don't know why it just doesn't say DNF. If you check the Video, it's a little clearer. The last 2 horses collided with each other at the 3/16th pole.

Thanks Ted. I think I sent you a question at your artofpace address a few days a ago. I haven't seen a reply so I guess you have not seen it. But could you explain %APV & CR headings that comes up with the entries in RDSS? I have decided to start using RDSS for more than just downloading the cards for VAL4.
I hope I don't miss my paper printouts too much.

Namaste:

Mike W.

MIKE: I moved the response to this to the RDSS Forum: http://paceandcap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5721

Re TrackMaster Data Problems

Has anybody come across anymore of those negative (-) SR ? In the 4th race at BEL for tomorrow May 31 the #3 (Samhoon) has an adjusted SR of -13 in 5th line back on 27Nov08 at Aqu and an unadjusted SR of 0.

I guess Trackamaster has not cleared up all the errors.

I see the same thing.

I won't be downloading any more data from Trackdisaster until I get an affidavit of reliability.

I contacted Jim at trackmaster and asked him for a refund of the files i downloaded from may 18-20 and he responded that he will fix it...according to my account they still show as downloaded files and I dont know if I will be charged for them..
