Ted is off until ~ July 15

Folks,

I was going in for shoulder surgery in 11 days, but it has been moved up to this Friday (Nov 9). Depending on how it goes, I will be out of action for 1 or 2 weeks (hopefully not more ...)

This changes my schedule for the RDSS Online clinics which I was going to start this week. I will let folks know when I am able to reschedule the start of that series, presumably later on in November.

I sent out RDSS Subscription renewal notices for November 15. If you were going to renew, doing it this week before Friday would be helpful. I will still send out November 30 notices in a few weeks.

I will stay in touch with the website and my emails as much as I can until I know what I will be able to do, and let folks know when I am back to a full schedule.

Meanwhile, this week I am fine tuning my voice dictation software!. Any eccentricities in my written words for the next little while are entirely the fault/credit of Dragon Dictate

Wish me luck!

Ted

Bill, just chopping wood, shoveling snow, wrestling bears and writing code - the usual Canadian stuff ... I just replaced a major part on my truck after 280,000 km - now it's good for the same again. I figure if a lame shoulder is all I need to worry about after 58 years, a tune up could make me good too for another couple dozen software updates

Gil,

Thanks! Markdale, if you can believe that (Grey County - deep small-town farm country of my ancestors)! But that's where a good osteo-surgeon practices. Hard to say how long recovery will take, but they say the hardest thing will be to resist trying to do stuff for the first week or so. I'm already practicing certain activities using my left hand ...

Ted, be thinking about you on Friday. Hope all goes well. One piece of advice, be a fanatic about doing your PT exercises. It really does help in the end.
