There's an online play-along tournament Saturday - same 8 mandatory races at at the NHC. $50 each for up to 2 entries. I'm in!

www.nhcqualify.com

Note: for those who are playing in the PAIHL Team Contest at PaceAdvantage: you're already working half the NHC mandatory races!

Ted

Dear NHCQualify.com Registrant:

The $1.5 million Daily Racing Form/NTRA National Handicapping Championship begins this Friday. NHCQualify, the ‘Official Online Qualifying Site for the NHC’ will send 136 qualifiers to compete in Las Vegas. We hope that everyone has a great time and wish each and every one of them much success.

The Daily Racing Form and the NTRA are pleased to announce a special ‘Play Along with the NHC’ event for Saturday, January 25th. This event will give you a chance to join in the festivities and to earn site credits for 2014. An estimated $13,500 will be awarded on Saturday (based on 300 entries)!

The contest will be comprised of the eight (8) mandatory races on Saturday that make up the NHC action in Las Vegas. It will follow the NHC format of a mythical $2 win and place wager on one horse in each race. The entry fee for the ‘Play Along with the NHC’ is only $50. Here is the estimated prize pool payout of $13,500 (based on 300 entries):

1st place = $ 4,500 (30%) 2nd place = $ 3,000 (20%) 3rd place = $ 1,800 (12%) 4th place = $ 1,200 (8%)
5th place = $ 900 (6%) 6th – 10th places = $ 330 (2%) 2014 NHC Tour membership (4%)
(The prize pool will be paid based on total number of entries with the above percentages applied and a 90% payback. A guaranteed prize payout of $2,000 for 1st; $1,000 for 2nd and $500 for 3rd will apply, along with ten 2014 NHC Tour memberships.)

· The contest is open for all players.

· Entries are limited a total of 500.

· Five (5) official NHC Samsung Tablets will be awarded based on a random draw amongst all non-NHC qualified entries.

· A 2014 NHC Tour membership is not required for this event.

· The prize pool will be awarded as site credits to be applied to either NHCQualify.com or BCQualify.com.

· The credits can also be transferred to a DRFBets account (where applicable).
Entries for Saturday’s ‘Play Along with the NHC’ contest are now open at www.nhcqualify.com. Races will be posted by noon on Friday, January 24th, along with free Daily Racing Form Classic past performances. Contest selections will open on Friday night. Players may purchase up to two entries each.

Congratulations guys - you beat more players than I did!

The Holy Bull ended up more profitable than I expected, and represented my only real payout of the day.

A lot of favourites today ... (OK, excluding Susan's Express, $132.40 and WeeWinnin $44.80 )

Ted
