My BL/BL readout
I don't have time to do horse-by-horse PPs like Bill V. would, but wanted to keep the feature race of the day at DMR trend going.
#1 - Foreign runner - No usable lines. #2 - Used last line, 0.3% worse than the best perceptor, strong 3rd closing. #3 - SCRATCH #4 - Line 3, today is 2nd off the layoff, improvement expected. #5 - Line 2, also 2nd off the layoff, ran as pleased in its 4YO debut, probably capable of running back to its better races. #6 - No line. Appears outclassed vs. these. #7 - Line 2, won the Shoemaker last out, and is 2nd off the bench. The one to beat. #8 - Line 2, as last line showed nothing and is a total toss IMO. Nothing else comparable. Secondary runner. #9 - Line 1, last out was a very high DTV. Sharp form. Contender, main threat. #10 - Line 5, nothing comparable in recent times. Secondary runner. #11 - Used Line 3, sharp recent effort that may overrate. Can it run back? |

Catapault
Completely underestimated #6 2nd off the layoff, missing the major detail of a G2 placing last year. Probably would/should have used Line 3 (Saratoga), which puts it right in the mix. Missed opportunity, but that is the price I pay for quickly working a race on the fly and not digesting things beforehand. Onward.

Lines
Hi Jeebs
I saw that too. I figured neither the last line or the 2nd lines were both usable but the 187 TPR form the Saratoga still was not enough to match the 5 or 7's 188-187 who were in good current form My #5 just got nipped at the wire by the late flying Catapult Like Doc says "its the blink of an eye" |

Hey Jeebs and Bill V...I also had the #5 bet at DMR...thought he was a winner coming down the stretch...had nothing on the 6...what happened to Hunt and Itsinthepost???
Itsinthepost was 0-9 at DMR...must not care for that surface...Randy |

Hi Randy
Both the 7 and 9 look good on the PP's Both are coming back after about 8 weeks off. Both have decent works and good jockeys Just not their day? |
