Aqu r8 11-17-23 - Pace and Cap

Just to show U the consistency of the patterns I scanned the big “A” results and saw the 2 horse paying $104. Did not play today.
First I calculated the ratios for the dd will pays. Used the 13 on the 8 horse. Saw two horses below him, the 2 & 4. So I know I’m going to check them out in the exactas for long shot patterns. First I want to seethe short exactas with the 12. That would be the 8-3-1-4 and u guessed it, the 2. So now I want to cross check the exactas with these horses. I did not see any unusual money in the exactas between the 12 and those 5 horses. I would favor the 3 over the 1-4 and all three over the 8, but when I checked the 2, remember I said he took money in the doubles, well with the 4, 4-2 is lower than 4-10 (51-1 vs 18-1). That’s not right and 8-2 is too close to 8-10. So that pattern tells me they’re betting the 2. Now the 12 or the 1-3-4-8 could very well beat the 2 but at those odds I’ll take my chances with a box car payoff when it presents itself.
FYI they ran 2-12-1-3-4-8. If you wheeled him in the doubles to the last race, the short dd to the favorite was $363. Had the 3 won that dd was worth $1304. I once heard a horse say after the race “that ain’t hay”.

I always start off with the results page. Next I show the “program” screen with the m/l and final odds, then the dd will pays screen just in case you want to run the numbers yourself, followed by my work up sheet. Next I put excel on my iPhone to make my life simpler: m/l, will pay dd, ratio which is =(b1/a1), the spreadsheet formula, on the far right I record the final odds for my own reference. And next to the race favorite I list the exactas that are bet to that horse, in this case the 12(6/5). Beneath I list the track, race and date, and finally the results. I list the final exacta screens so you can see what I’m looking at.
