Don't forget about the search function to this website. Many questions have already been asked and answered. This thread should tell you all you need on perceptor.

Terry,
While waiting for others to chime in, you can try the P&C Google Site Search, for example on 'Perceptor definition' The first hit is a thread discussion which also contains an explanation I gave: http://paceandcap.com/forums/showpos...8&postcount=20 The PSS (Paceline Selection Strategy) named Best of Last 3 Comparable - Perceptor Total, uses that number to determine a paceline to select for a start at comparative Analysis of the horses. Some say it accounts for 75% (or 100% say some, but I tend to modify a few lines manually) of the paceline selection task. Look for it on the far right of the horse's Original screen (and on the Primary Tab). It represents the best of what a horse can do today (if in shape) - more effective when taken from pacelines as comparable as possible to today. ** LOL - JimG beat me to it. Thanks Jim! Ted

No need to apologize. We are here to help! Sometimes people are unaware of the search function on forums if they are new. Ask away, and myself, or someone else, will chime in. Jim |
