If one uses the program's Speed Ratings, or perhaps the Perceptor screen Total rating, or Total Energy, or TPR figs to help select pacelines, these measures of what constitutes 'best of last 3 lines, similar distance and surface' will be different depending on 'mode' because Val and Spec each value Beaten Lengths and project sprints somewhat differently. If you use a Match Up type of approach, employing raw, unadjusted running lines and times, then no such dilemma, and YES, it doesn't matter the mode. Ted
