This one's got me stumped. Only two horses run Other-Than Early. That means you can toss the rest of the field, right? Your work is done? Uh...well, not quite. There's a problem. Neither of those two OTE horses -- #3 Smokin Sarah & #2 Shoot The Bugler -- look competetive. :::scratching head::: What to do? |

I see the 2 horse as being competitive, but I keep myself limited to projecting the pace from an AQU race, not any of the Saratoga races that show up for the "E" types. Saratoga just traditionally shows faster splits. On the "adjusted" screen, after I had predicted the half to be 45.4, I see that the 2 is competitive, based on using its last line. But the TPR/EPR screen does make the 2 appear to be out of it, as does the BL/BL tab. I'll probably go with my gut here, unless the first 6 races show me otherwise. The 2 seems to have things his way in terms of a pace set-up, I just worry that it could get blocked behind a wall of horses. |

I figured you did . Nice work and it is good to see folks making profits from the place pool. Bill Place showed @11/1 paid $3.60 chalk ran 1-2 |
