PGM # column
Hello
I am looking for an explanation as to the meaning of the column PGM # in the ANALYSIS window. Are the horse numbers in a particular order and why are there colored numbers? |

(PGM)Program # is not always the same as (Gate)Post #.
For example, 1 and 1A cannot both break from the 1 hole. Thus the actual gate position is altered from Program #. As for the "colored numbers", I assume you refer to the placement colors you see for ranks 1,2,3 in each categorical readout, with 4th being emboldened black. When the horse numbers are colored in that way I assumed that to be the RDSS "selections" (you will note the top is nearly always APV1), while the ranking to the far right (under BL) are the BL ranked "selections" (note the top ranked BL horse is usually #1 VDC). Please note that is merely an assumption on my part as I never heard an explanation for it.

RDSS color code
RDSS2 uses a color code for horse that rank 1st 2nd or 3rd or 4th in the readouts All readouts that rank first will be the same color seconds all will be a different shade as will 3rd ranked horses Horses ranked 4th are in bold face
Here is a sample . See how all the 1's 2's and 3' and 4 rankings all are different shades but all the same for that ranking code Bill |

Thanks All for the quick replies.
When I look at the ANALYSIS readout I see in the PGM # column the list of horses in a non but sequence order and amongst the numbers 3 of them are colored red. green, and yellow. Does the order or the colors have any relevance to anything? |

Top 3 Class Ratings
On the analysis screen the program numbers will be the same color code
pattern if the horse was one of the top 3 Class rating horses. Horse 2 was one of the top 3 Class Rated horses in this field. So when you see its program number in the analysis screens, it will be color coded. |

Thanks for that, Bill.
Hey, I just discovered something else that's pretty cool. I scrolled down "too far" and there at the bottom of the page resides a list of "similar threads"! Never saw that before, but I like it!
