I wonder why all the NYRA supporters have been so quiet lately. I mean, they're so vocal when it comes to bashing other tracks that have biases. In particular, they were/are all over POLY because of the slow paced races and the advantage for closers. YET, not a peep out of them during what was an EXTREMELY SPEED biased SAR meet, both on turf and dirt, and the FIASCO that's been the past 2 days @ BEL. (They had much to say about jocks slowing down paces on POLY but not a word about the jocks doing the same thing on the SAR turf. Go figure? ) Hard to believe that a MAJOR track, the best racing in the country, per its many usually vocal supporters, can't offer fair racing whenever it gets wet. This is becoming a JOKE: biases on the dirt track and ARABIAN fractions on the turf. And NYRA's supporters have, essentially, STFU about it.
2 for 2 wire to wire today. It's not even DEBATABLE how much better the product @ WO is. Last edited by tfm; 09-25-2011 at 01:44 PM. |

YET ANOTHER wire job. Guess Johnny V didn't get the memo about the SPEED BIAS. The idiot is actually trying to CLOSE on this track --- with a horse that's typically ON the pace, no less. No wonder he's top jock.
Might be time to go back to CRC and DEL |

WELL, the WIRE TO WIRE streak is broken, as, apparently, DOMINGUEZ, who has been riding like an apprentice this meet, didn't get the memo about the inside being SLOW. So he guides the speed to the rail in the stretch and watches the closer blow by WIDE.
****in' JOKE. Where's SERLING to explain all this ****? Hasn't he constantly reminded us that NYRA has the BEST DIRT racing in the country? ha ha ha |
